MOUNTAIN POOLS

Marie and I took Katie for a hike, lunch and then for a swim in a mountain fed pool adjacent to the P C Golf course.

RAINY DAY

We woke up to the sound of rain and chill in the air. Katie wants to sit out on the deck - she likes to keep track of  the wildlife in our neighborhood. A huge black bunny visited us last evening. I didn't get a photo, but I would guess it weighed at least 30 lbs. Nothing like Florida bunnies! If the weather clears we'll go for a hike this afternoon. 

NO TRESSPASSING

I noticed that most all the the properties up here in Tollgate Canyon have "no trespassing signs" with various threats, so it was suggested to me that I post something as well seeing that it is just Katie and me home alone. So.......  Frank Caroselli treated Donna and me to a day at the new indoor practice range and I taped our target to the front window of my cabin. I think it is really more effective that a sign saying...   "Protected by Smith & Wesson....

OLYMPIC PARK

Donna, Katie and I enjoyed watching the ski jumpers train at Olympic Park.

Katie liked to watch the athletes come down the jumps but she had no intentions of getting into the pool herself .

We drove over Guardsman Pass and down to Midway then had lunch at the 

Historic Homestead Inn.

July 4 - Day Trip

Donna, Marie, Katie and I went up to the High Uintas, hiked around Butterfly Lake (in the rain)

And visited the Provo River Falls. Ate our picnic lunch while taking in the spectacular views.

Watched the Park City and Canyons fireworks from our deck across the valley.

Evening Visitors - July 3

Katie and I were out for an early evening potty break when these two showed up. We retreated to our deck to watch the show.

1st Night At The Cabin

Wow! Beautiful view of Park City from the deck overlooking the Moose Pond on this property.
Looking forward to the cool night breeze. It has been in the 90's for days.
